This was a great buy to replace my TV stand we'd outgrown years ago. It's VERY sturdy and heavy once fully assembled, and looks more upscale than I expected from a BH&G Wal-Mart purchase! It stores all my TV equipment, close to 100 DVD's (3 rows deep) and my cat's stuff with room to spare. It's pretty large for a TV stand but for me it replaced the old stand plus a separate DVD shelf. A sound stand fits nicely on top and a 60 inch TV as well with room on both sides.

The downside? It was a bear to put together! It took 2 hours + and while all you need is a screwdriver and a hammer it's pretty labor intensive and at times frustrating work. The doors especially were rough to attach just right. Having said that the end result was totally worth it!

Great purchase so far, looks great. But we had an issue when we were putting the bottom on. One of the nubs that pop into a pre-drilled hole was longer than the hole drilled and busted the wood on the bottom part. Sucks but we were able to chop the nub and make it fit flushed. Still sucks it's damaged, but you can't really tell. Over all though it was super simple to put together with great instructions and organized screws/bits. Highly recommend buying!

This piece looks great in my family room. There a lot of steps but everything is labeled and all of the nails/screws etc were in their own little labeled package. It took me just under 3 hours. I took my time though to really go through the directions. Very sturdy and heavy. So far pretty pleased!
